Pc upgrade suggestion (100% disk usage)

I have 100% disk issue that i cannot resolve via software, the computer randomly freezers and i have to manually restart it... I tried almost everything.
So i decided to upgrade my PC

My Specs are:
Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 Ghz
Ram 8 Gb DD3
Nvidia GeForce GT 640
1 Tb Hard Disk HDD

What i Should Upgrade? I was thinking about buying an SSD or upgrade my Ram to 16 Gb.
What do you think?

100% disk usage usually indicates dying HDD. So, go for a new storage drive, SSD or HDD.

Additional RAM isn't needed, unless you also upgrade your GPU to a better one (e.g GTX 1060).
