[SOLVED] PC Upgrade Suggestions

Hi everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my current setup to something a bit newer. I'm looking to upgrade CPU and GPU. Also switching to DDR4 ram and mobo. Mostly use the computer for gaming.

Currently Using
i7 4790k
MSI GTX 970

I'm looking to spend about $600 - $700 on the combo. I was looking at
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2060 6gb
However I feel there might be some bottle necking. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Ryzen 5 3600 won't bottleneck don't worry at all.

Just upgrade the gpu for now. Then, if the cpu actually is proving to be a hindrance, then change it.
I was on a thread just the other day with someone who wanted to upgrade their cpu, when they were already rolling with a 6700K + 2080Ti at 1440p.
There wasn't a worthwhile cpu upgrade available for them, so I told them to reign in their itch.

Acer KG271U 144hz 1080p monitor
750 w EVGA G2 about 2 years old.
Looking to stick 1080p for now with the possibly of moving to 1440p in the future.
