PC Upgrade with GTX 1060

Get all! Right now I have a GTX 1060 that I'm running with an FX-6300. I plan on (hopefully) upgrading from the FX to a Ryzen 5 2600X. However, I heard that my GPU would now bottleneck my CPU. Is it worth it to upgrade, or should I stay put? Thanks so much!

any CPU that has been released in the last 2-3 years would be better then an FX CPU

Your 1060 will not bottleneck that upgrade.

The 1060 and 2600X will be a very good pairing. There is always a limiting factor in the pc, what that is will depend on many factors.
