[SOLVED] PC upgrade

Hello,

Today i got my Metro Exodus

And im not very happy, because my pc suck at keeping decent FPS during game.

My Pc:
MSI MS-7798 B75MA-P45 Motherboard Intel B75 LGA 1155
Intel i5 3450
8gig ram
Nvidia GTX1060 3gb

I've been thinking a lot about an upgrade.
Do i have to upgrade everything? Or mb and cpu?

No, your GPU is above the minimum specs so you are good there.

You need a new CPU and motherboard. Since you play FPS shooters, I'd go with an intel CPU due to superior single thread performance.

Note that buying a new CPU/mobo board will entail buying a couple of sticks of new DDR-4 RAM too since your Ivy Bridge system uses DDR-3.

i would recommend you to get a Ryzen system

a Ryzen 5 2600 (€150)
with a good B450 Motherboard (€100) ex. MSI B450 Gaming Plus (ATX/mATX), ASUS Prime/TUF B450 (ATX/mATX)
and 16GB DDR4 2666 kit (€100)

how about your PSUs? is it good enough?

HEy, tnx for the reply.
But im leaning towards I5 9600k or is ryzen 5 2600 better?
But i don't know much about motherboards, i don't want to buy some old 2016/17 mobo.
I want to buy something more futureproof, so i can upgrade in a couple of years.
And yes i don't know much about Ram either, i read about speeds 2666,3000,... does this impact the performance much?
