[SOLVED] Pc upgrade

I am planning to upgrade my pc.
I have a gtx 1060 6gb oc.
And a corsair 550V psu.
I have decided to buy a asus x370 mobo with Ryzen 1600 ,a 240gb ssd with 8gb single stick ram. (Corsair vengance 3000Mhz)
Am low on budget rn so ill buy another ram stick 8gb next month making it total 16gb.
Is this combo good?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds like a reasonable plan, unless you can perhaps find a quality B450 or X470 for approximately the same money, and, an R5-2600 (I know the R5-1600 is on major discounts everywhere, however!)

What model psu? No such thing as a 550V, if you mean a VS550 then that is a low quality unit and you need better for gaming.

RAM should be bought in matched kits. Buying 8gb now and 8gb later runs the risk of issues. Often it will work but even buying the same make and model separately can have issues. I’d just wait until you can buy a 2x8gb kit.
