I'm trying to upgrade from an i7-3770 LGA 1155 based pc into a more modern build. I'm looking for a cpu, motherboard, case, storage, ram, and psu for around $500-$600. For the gpu I'm just going to put in my GTX 1070 which I'm going to upgrade later. Do you guys have any suggestions?

It's a bad time to do this to be honest. Power supplies, motherboards and graphics cards are all in short supply, still, due to China's industrial shut down for several months. If you wait until supply catches back up with demand you will end up with a much better system for your money. If you really NEED to do this now, then this is probably one of the better options currently.
