Its a good upgrade! Especially if you're looking for gaming performance. Although Ryzen 5600X is out, but scalping and low stocks.... Sigh. Taking that into consideration, great build! I don't know if that old AIO will last an OC tho lol

The Ryzen 5600x is 140 USD more expensive where I live, and the difference between the two performance wise from what I've seen isn't worth 140 USD.
I also got the z490-f mobo on sale for 236usd from 389usd so it just seemed like more bang for the buck.
My aio has been doing some insane work and handled a pretty intense oc on my current card, i ran 4.9ghz 24/7 for a while but in case it doesn't do the work I'll exchange it, im just trying to save as much money as possible.

If that's the case, it's a great build. Keep the AIO thing in mind tho lol. Do you think you got a good enough deal with the 5700 XT?

I was hoping for some sales on black weekend/friday on GPU's but there were absolutely none so I got it for standard price. originally I wanted to go for a nvidia card like the 2070/2060 super but after some research and alot of youtube comparisons the 5700 xt just does better in gaming in most cases, the price for the cheapest 5700 xt and 2060 super were the same at 495usd and 2070 at 600usd. I did have the option to get a 2060 for 350usd but I'd rather put in some extra money now and be future proofed with the extra 2gb memory.

If your power supply and cooler is the same age as the rest of the PC this might be a good time to also replace them.
You could sell your PC as a working PC and just replace everything.
