Build Advice PC upgrades for a friend ?

Hi, so my friend bought a prebuilt PC from our local shop 2 years ago.
- i5 9400f/with stock cooler
- some H310 motherboard
- 2x8gb 2400MHz
- GTX 1660 6GB
- CoolerMaster MWE 500W V2
- Some RGB case that supports only MicroATX motherboards.

He told me that he wanted more FPS in MOBA games like LoL, Dota 2, and FPS games like CSGO/ Valorant, and over all a faster CPU. So I told him to upgrade his CPU/motherboard and RAM.
His budget is around $684 (75000din) , but since we live in Serbia, components are more expensive than in US for example.
I told him to go for this config:
Ryzen 5 5700X 26.7k din
MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI - 24.5k din
2x 16 GB Patriot Viper Venom 5600MHz - 14k din
Arctic Freezer i35 ARGB - 4.3k din

Thoughts?
I don't see a point in upgrading his GPU yet, since the only GPU intensive games he plays on PC are Ark Survival evolved, occasionally Resident Evil and Forza Horizon 4, all of which the GTX 1660 can handle at 1080p.
LGA 1151 is outdated, I mean if he had a better motherboard, he could upgrade to a lets say i7 9700k/ or even the i9 9900k as he does have money for it, but this motherboard would collapse on its own if we put anything like that in it. So i thought why not upgrade to a brand new, fresh platform? It will be day and night difference in performance.
5700X, 8 cores, 16 threads, 4.6GHz boost clock, with ability to overclock, perfect for gaming for a lot of years to come. Main reason I choose AMD for him is because of that easy upgradability, so if he decides that the 5700X isn't enough for him , he can easily upgrade to a Ryzen 9 7900X3D for example, if he wanted to, down the line.

Motherboard is a good pick in my opinion. It is in fact MicroATX, but with 4 DIMM slots, at least some cooling on the VRM's, compared to the other MicroATX motherboards out there, tons of cool features, like WiFi 6, which he needs. I think it will handle the 5700X with ease.
RAM brand might be unfamiliar to people who are not from our regions, but its a really solid brand. Will 5600Mhz suit him nicely? or do we upgrade to 6000Mhz? Can we buy 5600MHz one and OC it to 6000MHz?
Arctic Freezer i35 ARGB will be enough for him, I think.

Make and model of the case?

You either chose the wrong motherboard or the wrong processor since they will not work with each other due to socket incompatibility. If you want to stick to the B650 chipset, you will need to look into a Ryzen 5 7600x. If you want to stick with the Ryzen 7 5700x, then you'll need a B550 chipset motherboard.

Sadly there are couple of things in your friend's existing build that are limiters. I would opt for a GPU upgrade apart from a mobo, CPU and ram upgrade.

I completely mixed things up, i wanted to say Ryzen 5 7600X not 5600X.... My bad.
Eithe way, the R5 7600X is 32k din, still in his budget, so we are most likely to go with that.
We both dont know the exact model of the case, since the entire PC is bought as a prebuilt, without cases name, we dont know. Things we do now is that the case has a closed front panel, with 3 fans at the front, that do literally nothing since the airflow access is restricted, a exhaust fan in the back that rattles and creates awful noise that can be heard through discord calls, and 2x120mm fan slots in the top of the case, that are not used. His next upgrade will likely be new case+fans, he wants to upgrade GPU/PSU last, since he doesnt play many GPU intensive games.

AM5 looks like a good deal.

or for now, go with a 12600 and later on upgrade to a 14700. good deal either way. i dont see the 14700 getting outdated for atleast 5 years. perks of finally having a good 2 way competition.

You can re-use the rams, which is a plus. gives you cash to spend it peripherals upgrade if he is interested, and underrated. having a nice set of kb & mouse and chair and mousepad is crucial for a fun experience XD

We already bought the above mentioned combo with a 7600X, just waiting for things to arrive xD.
He already has good peripherals, so no worries about that
