Pc upgrades, need help

hi, i currently use an i3 3320 and a ASUS P8H61-MX USB3 motherboard, and for the gpu, i have a radeon 6850 from asus.

i have a bit of a tight budget, i would like to do some video editing and recording for youtube, and i also dont plan on upgrading very soon my cpu or gpu once i upgrade them, as you can guess, i use the socket 1155.

now my question is, should i get a good cpu, like, i7 3770k, should i get a better gpu for the same price as the i7?

i havent tried amd cpu's but intel never gave me problems...
also i would like to overlock, even tho, if i buy the i7 3770k i wont be able to buy a mobo that supports overlocking.

any suggestions for other upgrades, i would really apreciate

Have you tried doing any editing with your current setup? Depending on the video quality/resolution you'll be editing will decide whether it will really be beneficial to upgrade or not.

i would edit on 1080p since thats my screen full capability, and i have dont some editing on sony vegas, it takes a long time reendering a video of 7-8 mins lenght (about 25-30 mins)
