PC uses headphone speakers as mic

Hey guys my pc has a mic and headphone connecter combined and every time I try to connect my beats Headphones with it, the dts Dolby whatever control panel shows up and ask me if I want to connect my headphones as a headset or microphone or as a line in and if I choose headset only the headset speakers work, if I choose microphone only the mic works but from headphone speakers. The program or windows just uses my headphone speakers as a mic and not my mic on my cable that is connected. It's super annoying. And I am using the latest realtek audio driver and I tried without them and reinstalled every audio driver.
Is there any fix?

Whet sort of audio jack does your PC have?

Is that also a combo-jack or two separate jacks for mic and headphones?

It has two ports on the front panel, one is only audio and the seconde one has the audio and the mic sign on it.

Beats me. I only know the basics of headset jack plugs and combo jacks, never actually used a headset my self, don't even use headphones so not familiar with the various audio software utilities, sorry.


Need someone with more knowledge in that department.
