[SOLVED] PC uses RAM with no big application opened

Looking at the wrong place. Look at processes. Lots of background applications use a few mbs of RAM and when you have like 50-100 of them it adds up. I'm using just over 4 atm with just edge open in the foreground. PLus W10 uses like 2 and a bit.

And is there a way to close them without going through all of the min task manager?
I tried services.msc but I ended up closing some services related to vital programs.

Why do you want to close them? Are you running out of RAM when doing something else?

I only have 8gbs of ram and I host a minecraft server for my friends(I allocated 2gb so the server doesn't have lag issues)and I play as well on the server(and I dedicated for my minecraft 2gb for again preventing lag)and the pc uses like 80% of the memory

Nothing wrong with 80% usage. It’s up to you but if your not having any issues then you are not going to gain anything by closing these other applications.

Yea you're right
The most optimal solution is upgrading my ram to 16gb(and it's the new sweet spot atm i think)

I wouldn’t close them unless you know what you’re doing. A lot will just BSOD your PC or cause issues
