Pc using 2x more power.

Not sure what Forum to put this in but yeah. So I checked how much my power my pc was using a a few days ago and saw it was two times more than about 7-8 months ago. Does anyone know why, I think it might be because of the amount of dust that has built up. Here are specs if you need them.
Cpu: Intel Pentium G3258
Gpu: Gtx 570 Phantom
Ram: 8gb (I don't know exactly what type, But the brand is Corsair)
Psu:750w (again not sure, but its some type of Be quit psu)

how much is it using? it will varying from minute to minute, so it might be nothing to worry about.

While your tasking your pc the usage is going to go up if your not and its sits idle the usage will go down but.... if your machine is real dirty it wont hurt but it will help to clean all the dirt out so the pc can breath and cool properly.

Its using roughly 0.18-0.20 kilowatts on idle now for about 10 mins testing and it used to use 0.8-0.12 kilowatts before.

it'll be some random piece of software that is prodding the cpu a little.

Zeroacess can do this if it is running a bitcoin mining in the background.
