PC using monitor speakers instead of standard speakers

I just installed new audio drivers, but my PC is using the speakers on my monitor instead my actual speakers. How can I change this?

Right click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen (next to the clock). I'm guessing your monitor is connected to your display via HDMI. You will need to change this to how ever your speakers are connected as the default audio device.

What I did on my rig was too go into device manager and disable the gpu's sound card, then go back to your sound properties and make sure it's selected your audio card from your sound card/board.
