done ur survey i hate people who pirate games or software games especially its eithaically wrong ur riping the next gamer off as the the companies loss $ to develop more games costing the genuine person if ur a pirate of software games or programs ur scum

Piracy used to be a big thing back in the day when Demos stopped coming in magazines and before the dawn of gameplay videos of youtube.
Now it has no need to exist, because you can find all the information the developers are trying to hide 1 day after release (pirates usually would take longer that that to break the DRM).

Sure, everything you say is correct, but when was the last time you didn't feel ripped-off by the game companies?
I'mean they ask for your money months ahead then they release the game at least 6 moths before it's finished and then they ask for even more money in the form of season passes, crappy dlc's at ridiculous prices and the cherry-on-top microtransactions.
If you feel treated right by the gaming industry then hat's off to you,a lot of people feel the burn for years now.

It has reached a point where a lot of games don't even start up on a lot of systems,if you bought the game you lost your money, just take a look at the quantum break forum, lot's of sobs crying about loosing their money.

I used to pirate video games due to the lack of money (just a couple of games, not much), but then I saw some Steam sales.... a little later, 600+ games in my inventory. No need for pirating, and it's just wrong. No justifying it

If a game is locked into Microsoft games for Windows Live / Microsoft Store then it may be justified e.g GTA4,

They need to make some changes really, like all games should be available to all online outlets,
and when you launch game it should ask which store/drm you wish to associate it with.

Also if I lived in Australia, I would be upset, the games are censored and cost 2x the price.

Luckily there are many outlets that sell keys / redemptions now.

I know, my lecturer forced us to set the questions to suit strongly agree, agree, disagree etc. but anyways thanks for the feedback i'll try to improve the questions next time
