I bought a 360 after my ASUS A7N8X Deluxe build died at the end of last summer (I know its old, but it still played a majority of the games I cared about somewhat after a graphics update) in order to play Modern Warfare 2. Played the game on someone else's 360 and just had to have it, so I did.
Coming up (Fall '10) I will be getting a grant from my school in order to purchase a computer (500 grant/500 loan). I plan on spending all and a little more for another system that will last a while, and play the games I want.
My only concern with building another computer is the rampant cheating I hear about from my friends who own the PC copy of MW2 (specifically)
I played CS from when it was a mod, and although hacking was annoying, it wasn't as widespread as from what I've heard.
TL;DR
Is cheating/hacking in PC multiplayer is bad as I have been lead to believe? I miss a mouse and keyboard, and want to build a computer and demote my 360 to media center, but is it worth it?
