I want to put PC in sleep mode but it keeps turning back on almost instantly. Been having this issue for several weeks but before that it never did this.

I ran the command prompt and did the "powercfg/lastwake" and it's showing this text below as the reason it's turning back on. Anyone know how to resolve this issue and what this means?

make sure you do not have a media player running. when you request sleep, the media player has the option to block it if it is sharing any media. (there is a control panel setting to turn off the option to block sleep)

I have also seen network devices block sleep. xbox or a service on another windows machine on the same network.

I have seen two network devices wake each other up on the same machine.
you can isolate the problem by disabling all of your network devices then do your sleep request and see if it then sleeps

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be logging some error code, warning, or (more likely) some informational event just before or at the time the PC is woken up.

Likewise check Task Scheduler: there may be some rule in place (for reasons and sources unknown) that triggers the re-awakening.
