PC went to blue screen stating that there's a hardware error and then shut down? When I tried to restart the pc fans come on but the pc does not boot up. What can be the problem?

I'm guessing it is "a hardware error".

Was there any more info on the BlueScreen?

Unfortunately thats all I could read before the screen went off. Is there any way that I could identify the problem?

That's a tough one. It literally could be anything.
What are the specs of this PC?

And do you have any known good parts you can swap in? Starting with the PSU.

I don't think it's the PSU as the pc still switches on and you can hear it running, but it does not boot up. It's almost as if it's stuck in Sleep mode. I'm running a quad core AMD Phenom2 CPU, 550Watt Corsair PSU, 1GB ASUS Radeon Graphix card and motherboard is also ASUS but i'm not sure on the specs.

Just because the fans spin does not mean the PSU is 100%

if it bsods when trying to load windows right about the bios prompt hit, if I remember right f8 to have it load in safe mode and see if it still bsods if it loads to windows in safe mode then you can look at some things ..

Alright will try and run it with another PSU and see what happens. Thankx. Unfortunately can't run safe mode as the display is off.

without a display ?? what can you tell by just looking in the case at lights flashing and fans spinning ??
