Question PC will freeze, stop sending images, and won't properly turn on until power cycled.

I'm having a strange and persistant problem. While I'm using my computer, my screen will occasionally freeze, and then turn black, displaying the "No input detected" message. When this happens, the lights will still be on and the fan will still be running. I have to turn the computer off, power cycle it, and sometimes wiggle the cord that plugs into my monitor for it to properly turn on again. Here are my computer specs, if they matter.

Have you tried it with a different cable?
Are motherboard BIOS and GPU drivers up-to-date?
