Specs
Z390 Pro P4.70
Intel i7-9700k
2 corsair DDR4 16GB kits
ROG 2080 super
Corsair RM 850x PSU
2 1tb SSD
Ram voltage is 1.35 and has not been adjusted, Running at 2133
Hey guys I've hit a brick wall, I've had this pc for about 3 years or so and had no issues until about 3 months ago.
Was playing some games and pc hard crashed with one screen going black with only red and green lines showing up while the other screen BSOD with the failure of kernel security check failure.
Attempted to restart and went into a power cycle, reset the cmos and attempted to start the pc with no prevail. Did some searching up and noticed some people had an issue with ram so I started checking sticks in different configurations (single channel, dual channel, checking individual sticks, ect.) And had some results, would boot with 1 or 2 sticks of ram in all configs in all slots. At some point my pc bricked itself and was in a BSOD loop. I'm not entirely that tech savvy when it comes to the inner workings of a pc so I broke down and took it to a repair shop and they said something had gone wrong with my motherboard, so I go ahead and replace it. Pc worked great with all original hardware except a replaced motherboard.
Fast forward to now and I'm running into the same issue, BSOD kernel security check failure and now my pc will only run with 2 sticks of ram again and I'm at a loss. Just looking for some info if anyone else has had this sort of issue before?
Thanks.

Added to this, by not booting I mean that the pc will turn on (rgbs, fans, gpu spins up ect) but screens remain blank.)

Ah yes. I have this with DDR5 😉

Make yourself USB drive with passmark memcheck. Run 1 cycle.
Decrease memory clock, check again.

How hot does your CPU get?
How hot does your memory get?
You'll get temp readings during the test.

Just checking to make sure I understand correctly, I'm running the memcheck with all 4 ram? Sorry I am fairly new into the troubleshooting side.

Yes, reduce frequency and see if it will start at all with 4 modules.
I guess you tested both stick pairs and they both work if you use only 2 modules?
Yeah, I tested all four in all pairs, in all ram slots including single and dual channel and all configs only boot fully while running 2 sticks
