PC will not boot at all after installing a fax card

Hi .New to forum and I'm looking for help. I have a 3 year old HP Pavilion p6620f with a Foxconn N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix) MB .It was working fine, I wanted to add a fax card. I installed a LSI concord fax card. Tried to start and this is what is working. Fans start , a LED light on bottom left corner of the MB is lit and nothing else happens. No post, no hard drive activity, nothing. It will do a hard shut down with the start button.
Any suggestions?

Looks like a shorting issue, either when making pressure to place the fax card you moved something else just enough to make contact with the case (could be the fax card itself) or maybe the fax card is faulty hence shorting the system.

Try booting without it, if it still fails try the breadboarding test:

Thanks for the advice . Found out it was some ram that went bad.
