Hello all. I'm guessing this is the right place for this.

Ever since a week ago, I've been having a problem with my PC just occasionally not booting, or posting. The fans run extremely loudly, and no display is on the monitor.
What has me confused is some days it works fine, and some days it doesn't, so I'm starting to worry.

so again
I press power
Fans run max speed
Have to force turn off computer
Or sometimes it will start normally

Specs:
3rd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820X processor [3.6GHz, 15MB Shared Cache]
24GB DDR3-1600MHz [4 DIMMs]
2TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
GTX 660 1.5 GB

My computer is directly from HP. It's 2 years old as of yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

https://www.piriform.com/speccy is a good program that will tell you all of your hardware and temperatures, aside from your power supply.

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html will do the same thing but also display fan speeds, voltages, and more (I have both installed).

But my guess is that your power supply or motherboard is the cause. Look at your power supply model and check this link to see where yours lies in terms of tiers -- http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
