All of a sudden just yesterday night i shutdown my pc before going to bed but none of the leds that always turn off in my pc turn off and also the pc was still running after shutdown. I gave it a minute or so and it would not shutdown so i flicked the switch on the back of the psu and it turned off. Next day today it wont turn on. I unplugged and replugged the power cable in and out and it turned on. I then had to restart my pc to go into the bios and test somethings but the pc would not restart and it had the same problem as yesterday. I eventually was able to get into my PC but I was met with faulty hardware corrupted page and memory management BSODs. I have done many things to try and fix this issue but nothing I try works. The things that I have tried are as follows:
Reseting the cmos by taking out the battery or pressing the CLR CMOS button on the IO of my board. This will result in the PC booting up and then shutting down put then booting back up again and then posting.
Getting an entirely new PSU to only find out that this was not the issue as I am still having problems even with a new and better PSU.
Cleaning the ram and putting it back in
Trying each stick individually in all 4 slots and trying to boot
Jumping my PSU using the paperclip method which will result in showing that my PSU is working but strangely I need to have my boot drive plugged into the PSU to get this method to work
