Hello ! Recently I bought 16 gb of Corsair Vengeance pro memory 1866 version. My motherboard supports the maximum clock of 1600: this is the mobo http://www.gigabyte.com.ro/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4402#sp
I have an intel I5 3470 that supports only DDR3 1600 memory... If i put those memory modules in my computer, will windows lower the clock to work? And the final question : will my pc detect 16 gb 1866 ram on 1600 motherboard and cpu?

Solution
Yes, as you said it will simply downclock the memory to 1600MHz. And yes the motherboard will recognise all the RAM, to quote the link you sent us: "2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory".
