Not sure where to post this but it's getting very annoying at this point. I'm using the Sony x900f TV as a monitor on a Win 10 PC, and since the month or so, whenever I play anything with audio be it an online video, a file, a game, or anything that has audio, there will be no audio for like 2-3 seconds before it kicks back in.
It doesn't happen when I'm playing audio sources in quick succession, but it seems like the audio part of the HDMI signal goes to "sleep" after less than a minute of no audio playing, and then it needs 2 or so seconds to "wake up" and start playing audio every time. This is not happening over headphones or the DisplayPort. I've also tried other HDMI cables so that doesn't seem to be it either.
I didn't install or update anything recently that I know of, so no idea why this is happening. Does anyone have an idea on what might be causing this and how to fix it?
