[SOLVED] Pc without hard disk

So i bought a pc without a hard disk but i read somewhere that even without a hard disk it should still turn on. And it does turn on but only for a second then afterwards it turns off after like 10 seconds. Now is this normal and as soon as i put a hard disk in it should it work? If anybody knows if theres anything else that could be the problem plz lemme know.

You can get a Linux live DVD ( available as a free down load in various Linux flavors). Ubuntu was popular, but Mint is the favorite now I think. Just run it in trial mode. It will load into RAM, which takes a while, but runs OK from there. These are also good to have around to sidestep malware infections, or visit risky websites with no HDD connected.

FYI -- PC shouldn't turn itself off just because there's no HDD installed. Something else is amiss.
