What's the make and model of the new RAM?
You don't know? Open up your case and have a look. Is there a cable going from your GPU to your PSU? If there is, make sure each end of the cable if firmly inserted into the connector on the GPU/PSU respectively. It could have come loose.I don’t know and it has always been connected fine
