My pc was just working fine but now my pc won’t fully boot up and mobo is stuck on a white light. I disconnected some cables (monitor and usb) and the pc restarted but now there is a long orange light on the motherboard and then it’s stays solid white. I’ve reseated my Gpu and swapped to individual psu cables (I have a 4080 on a asus z760i with a 13700k cpu). Any suggestions? I looked at manual and it says white light indicates a vga problem but I’m not sure where to go from here if the pc won’t boot up.

remove the dedicated GPU and use 13700K iGPU.
if the system boots then it's possible you have a malfunctioned graphics card.

include your power supply make & model plus it's overall time in use.
Corsair sf750. It’s been in use for about a year.
I tried booting without the gpu and no luck. I didn’t disconnect the cables from the psu however. Idk if this makes a difference. I just removed the gpu. I am now attempting to replace the cmos battery which I read could be a solution.

you did connect the display to the motherboard I/O, right
not the dedicated graphics card?

totally remove it.
unplug all cables to it.
Corsair sf750
i haven't run into any of their SF(X) units in quite some time.
what is the warranty length on it?

which specific RTX 4080 do you have?
some manufacturers state a required minimum 850w.
