Question PC won’t even start

I haven’t used my gaming pc in a good year, I’ve tried to go back on it today and I noticed that it was running really slow, task manager was stating a 6% cpu usage however I have a hot bar at the top for an external app that was staring 100% CPU Usage, it was clear that 100% was being used. It was taking 10 minutes for me to even be able to type an app into the window search

When I tried to restart to boot up in safe mode to try n to figure the issue out the whole thing crashed as I was unable to move my mouse and it stayed like this for 20 minutes so I power offed via the button.

Now my PC powers on but that’s it doesn’t boot up or anything my monitor keyboard everything is still off I’ve currently left it for 15 minutes and nothing

Personally I would start with clearing CMOS

Personally I would start with clearing CMOS

I left it off since I started the thread and just tried again and now it’s booting up. Finally in safe mode.
