[SOLVED] PC won’t turn on after new graphics card installed

I recently bought a new power supply with 600watts to support my XFX rx 580, but after installing everything my PC won’t turn on. I swapped out my graphics card with the old one to see if my new graphics card was the problem, and it seems that it turns on and works perfectly fine when I do so. I’m not sure if my new graphics was DoA, because I ordered it, or maybe my power supply just isn’t giving it enough power to start up with the new graphics card. Any help would be great, thank you!

If new GPU was DOA, that in itself wouldn't prevent your PC from starting up. I suspect the PSU is inadequate for the system's power requirements with the RX 580 installed. Bear in mind that output wattage alone is not the only important criteria when choosing a suitable PSU, especially for a relatively high-end gaming card.
