Hi so recently I had some issues with my pc. First, my motherboard USB ports wouldn’t work so after a whole bunch of research and questioning, my motherboard died. So I bought a new one. But a new issue occurred to where whenever I power on my pc, it would turn off instantly. So I bought a new power supply, and still it wouldn’t work. So at this point I don’t know what it is. I also bought new ram cause I wanted my pc to not only perform good but also look good (to me at least). However I discovered that whenever I take out my CPU, my pc would run perfectly without turning off (and without display of course because there is no CPU installed). Does this mean my CPU died or something? Or is there a fix so I don’t have to spend a whole lot of money? I have a i7 7700k CPU

Do you have the opportunity to test the system with another CPU, not necessarily the same CPU but a known working CPU?

Have you tested your mobo/cpu/ram outside of the case? DO you get the same results.

Have you checked your event log, to see if Windows tells you why it shuts down?
