Question Pc won’t work

I recently installed an hdd in to my pc due to lack of storage. After installing it and trying to boot the pc the monitors, mouse and keyboard got no signal. My dram light is lit on my mother board but resetting cmos and putting the ram in again did not fix the issue. I feel like I’m at a loss here.

What else than replacing the HDD have you done? What happens if you just remove the new hdd? Or - since lack of any useful information such as hw list and possible related issues - can it be that it isn't a harddrive after all, but some other storage device that your hardware just doesn't support?
