Hey Guys,

I got a intel dh61ww motherboard with i3-2100 processor with 8GB of ram and GT-710
This is my mainstream computer and it got a pretty old bios and so I was updating my bios and i was stable bios version 99 and then while i was updating to bios version 120 I mistakenly shut my computer and my bios is now corrupted and now I can't get any error code nothing on display just only the fan spin. I tried resetting the bios jumper but everything i did [doesn't work].
Can you guys tell me what shall i do to fix my computer.

Thanks

Hey there,

Ah, that's a bummer. Lesson learned I guess.

You can try this: Download Intel DH61WW Desktop Board Recovery BIOS 0117 for OS Independent (softpedia.com)

You will need a usb thumb drive (use on another computer) and see if you can get it to boot.

Did you take the battery out when you changed jumpers to reset? You will need to do that.

I really learned a lesson

Yes i tried clearing the cmos and then then i took out the bios jumper .
As per as Intel : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005630/boards-and-kits.html

I put bios version 99,120 in a thumb drive respectively and left the machine ON for two-three hour but it didn't worked .
