[SOLVED] PC wont boot after a restart command is given!

SO i just built this pc and everything works well but whenever i press restart, the monitor shows restarting then turns off but the pc itself doesnt reboot ... i have to hard reset or kill the power to boot it up again.
my pc specs are:-
B550 master aorus
r5 5600x
zotac 3060ti
cooler master 750 waat
8x2 gigs adata 3200mhz
m.2 drive and a 2 tb hdd

Check your front panel connectors on your motherboard and make sure they are connected correctly to your case's front panel wires.

Tadashi, please also clarify if by "press restart," you mean a physical restart button on the pc itself, or the restart button within Windows.

I once had that problem --- system would not "Restart" but no problem shutting down then rebooting it.
In my case I fixed it by updating the motherboard BIOS.
Not saying it will definitley work for you, but worth considering.

Mine definitely is outdated bios... And kinda scared to update lol... Just got this sweet build and dont wanna ruin it over an issue thats annoying but too silly to risk for

I'm glad it worked for you just like it worked for me. I was also a little nervous about doing it as well because I'd never updated a BIOS before.
