Cleaned my pc using compressed air last night, now my pc wont boot. When i power it on my fans turn on, lights too, but I dont get bios started, the problem is not in graphics card because my mouse connected via usb is supposed to light up, i didn't unplug anything during the cleaning. Did i manage to fry my CPU?

Im kinda shit at compuers, any help I'd get would be much appreciated

Solution
No, your CPU should be ok... the mouse not lighting up?.. it happens sometimes for diferente reasons.. one being a corrupted BIOS.. bad PSU, dead motherboard, other time it's nothing, you just need to try again after a full shutdown. If nothing after that, try these suggestions:

1. check all PSU power connections..
2. it may take a BIOS reset
3. testing the PC with a different PSU
4. do a BIOS recovery.. preferably do it how the mobo manufacturer instructions: Search for keywords like; "how to do a motherboard brand and model followed by BIOS restore" (How to do a: Asus BIOS restore, MSI BIOS Restore, Gigabyte Dual BIOS restore, etc.). If you cant find the BIOS restore procedure for your motherboard, try the method typed at the...

That's how I do it and it has worked with every motherboard that was recoverable (different motherboard brands)

This sort of issue can happen when moving a PC, from dusting it, it has happened to me even from switching from a video port to another.... that time the mobo died without an apparent cause but that was rare.

You have to start with the easier stuff first so check the PSU connections and if still nothing, next reset the BIOS, following that try a different PSU. After that it may be necessary to do a BIOS restore and if still nothing, the mobo may be considered dead... but that would depend on the mobo being relatively old so unless that is the case, the most likely cause is BIOS corruption or dead PSU. Try these 4 suggestions and report the results.

Start with a BIOS reset and if necessary follow with a BIOS Recovery.

Option A) Bios reset:
1. Remove AC power or turn off the PSU
2. Remove the battery
3. Move the BIOS jumper to pins 2 & 3
4. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds
5. Wait 10 minutes
6. Revert 1 through 3 and try the computer

Option B) Bios recovery:
1. Remove AC power or turn off the PSU
2. Remove the battery
3. Remove the BIOS jumper
4. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds
5. Wait 10 minutes
6. Revert 1 through 3 and try the computer
