My computer won't boot at all when the asus strix oc RX 470 4GB is plugged in and has power connection. The fans are running, but nothing else happens. When the PC's power button is pressed, it turns off immediately.
I tested it in two other pc and it worked fine. Tested in mine with another suply power and still got the problem.
I've updated my bios to version 17.6 (the last one possible before ivybridge bios updates)

Mobo: msi h61m-p21 (b3)
supo: cx 430 corsair
Vga: asus strix oc rx 470 4gb
Cpu: i5-2500

Please, help. I dont know what more to do 🙁

update it to the newest bios and try again, 19.2

- Enhanced PCI-E display card performance.

lol what, do you think all of a sudden it will stop working with older cpu's???

ADDING support, does not mean taking away compatability

My fear is that I lose the mobo doing that, because there's a line on update 19.2 saying that:

* MSI recommend you to update BIOS with ME8 only if you are using IvyBridge 22nm CPU.

so do I really should update to 19.2?
