Hello all,

I just built my first PC with the help of YouTube. On the 3rd day of using it, I started playing an old favorite from my college years, Counter Strike: Source. After about 10-20 minutes of playing, the PC shut off. It took a few minutes until I was able to boot it back up and I had to reach behind the power supply and cycle the I/O switch in order for it to boot back up.

I decided to try running a stress tester for my CPU to see if it was overheating. When the CPU reached approximately 62 degrees Celsius it shut off again. Since this happened, I cannot get the PC to power up. It will only power up for a split second where my fans will spin for about a second and then the whole system will shutdown. My motherboard has an LED outline and a few other lights installed to where if the I/O switch is on it will light up, but the PC will not turn on except for only a split second.

My build:
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core

Motherboard: Asus Prime B450M-A/CSM MicroATX AM4

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000 mhz 2x18GB

SSD: Sandisk 480GB

GPU: XFX GTS XXX Edition RX 580 4GB OC+ 1386Mhz DDR5

PSU: Corsair - CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
