PC wont boot after restart

i recently had to change my motherboard because i got the "usb device over current" error and after trying a lot of thing couldn't resolved, so I decided to change the mobo to another one i had. NOTE: They are different models, the 1st one was an ASUS Sabertooth z77 and the one i have now is an ASROCK z77 Extreme 4. everything was fine until i tried to restart the pc. When i try to restart the pc is on but there is nothing on the screen and i have to force shutdown. The only way to apply updates is to shut down the computer i turn it back on. thanks in advance

I had a similar issue, what helped for me was installing the latest BIOS using a flash drive.
