Question PC won't boot after shutting it down from the other night

Forgive me if this isn't the right forum, i couldn't find anything "tech support" as an option.

Second time that it has happened. So basically when I do manage to boot it, it works fine with alot of hours of usage. After shutting it down and going to bed, the next day, it would have a hard time booting. The usual errors are ntfs.sys and ntoskrnl.exe.

I tried removing some peripherals and rebooting the PC, ultimately successfully booted after removing the mouse from the USB drive, connect it after it boots and it's good to use.

Are there any steps I could try to see what problems I have? Windows are completely up to date, drivers are all up to date. It's a brand new build, around 2 weeks too.

Specs are;
Ryzen 3 2200g
Asus B450m-a Prime
2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 2133mhz
RX570 Sapphire Nitro 8GB
Corsair VS450 PSU.

From experience, it seems to have a hard time booting properly after resting. Memtest86 and windows diagnostics shows no problem with the RAM.

edit: Automatic repair loops aswell, freezing and restarting after it appears. It stopped crashing and went through with it and diagnosed the PC after I removed the mouse cable. Could this be a mouse error? I don't think i've seen a mouse deliberately crash a PC. Also it works fine if I plug it in afterwards. I can't be sure yet if it's the mouse preventing the system to boot since it could just be well good coincidence that it boots after I removed it.

The first thing I would do is to disable fast startup . https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html it is remarkable how much trouble fast startup can cause; I have it disabled my PC still boots quite quickly.

Have you made any changes recently? I would also try a different mouse, as a wired mouse can develop a short where the cable meets the mouse from the constant motion of the mouse.

Can the mouse still be the culprit if it works perfectly when i'm using it. Unplugging and plugging it back in does nothing aswell when it manages to boot. No changes at all. It's fairly new and only a few stuff downloaded.

What ever the cause it is obviously sporadic, so you have to go with what works; in your case disconnecting the mouse, when the boot issue occurs. The remedy may be nothing more complicated than using a different USB port. Another possible fix is to put your hdd first on the boot order. Also how is your hdd partitioned.

I'm feel stupid but what does this mean? I only have 1 SSD btw.

What is the ssd make/model/size. Partitioning is simply how your ssd is divided up. with a small ssd, the norm is two partitions which is the minimum for windows 10. With larger drives, you can divide them up into more than two partitions to make it easier to keep track of different kinds of files. There is also a newer partitioning for newer PCIe ssds (GPT), that look like RAM sticks that are plugged into the motherboard.

WD Green 240gb. Is there a way to check said partitions? I don't recall seeing anything about it when I installed everything.

Right click on the start menu button and click on Disk Management

I've had difficulties booting up again, Automatic Repair loop, but managed to. I tried removing internet cable, mouse, headphones. It ran for a few while then crashed again saying PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA. Then it wen't back to the loop, ultimately arriving to ntoskrnl.exe. Removed the headphones, and it managed to boot again. Now it seems to be fine. Instantly plugged in headphones and is still running completely fine. Seems to really have a hard time booting after plenty hours of rest.

I figure I might aswell list them, gears are;
Steelseries Apex500
Logitech G300s
HyperX Stinger

There's 3 partitions.
(C Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition
(Disk 0 partition 2) EFI System Partition
Recovery (OEM Partition)

All says healthy

Edit: Now that it's working. I can shut it down and turn it back on without any problems and without removing any of the plugged in devices.
