PC won't boot after slight overclock

Hello, So after going to the BIOS and overclocking my Ryzen 5 1600 CPU from 3.2 to let's say 3.5 Ghz and my 2x8gb ram sticks from 2133Mhz to 2400Mhz my PC doesnt give any signal, (the components do turn on though) so I have to remove the motherboard battery and reload the default values. The weird part is that it shouldnt crash with such a small OC. I'm thinking it could be my relatively cheap B30M PRO-VDH motherboard. Any suggestions would be apreeciated

Try just overclock the cpu and leave memory speed as is. It is a lot more difficult overclocking memory than it is cpu, especially by that amount and remain stable. Better to just get faster memory.

yeah i suppose,its just annoying that the store that provided me the proccessor also hooked me up with ram. But back then i didnt know how important ram speed is for gaming. Anyway, thx bruv
