Question PC wont boot, BIOS says disks are almost empty

Title kinda of explains it. After turning off my PC last night and turning it on this morning, I couldn't boot off my hard drives. I took a look in BIOS, and it claims that my 1TB hard drive that was almost full is now almost empty (like 536.8 MB used ot something), and I tried installing Kali Linix on another HDD as I had a flash drive with kali and it also said there was like 536.8 MB used. Any idea why this is happening? The motherboard is pretty much brand new but I installed all the drivers.

I think? it just says that my hard drive is there but theres no option to boot from it. Also, tried it out on a friend's PC, same issue, so the hard drive just seemingly wiped itself. Any way I can recover the data?
