So, my computer has been acting up rather strangely every time I use it. I am seeing a black screen all the time. Keep in mind I have had it repaired once regarding this same issue so I don’t think there is too critical of an issue with the monitor, but it has not stopped even after I got it repaired. The people I took my PC to repair it with did not state what exactly was wrong with it, but I know that they did a software cleanup which allowed it to function for at least a week and then it reverted back to its original state.
Here is how it has been acting up::
By the way, my computer is definitely hooked up to the correct output source. It’s the same one I’ve always used to connect to my monitor.
I don't have any pictures at the moment.
Here is how it has been acting up::
- Every time it is turned on, my CPU fan starts to spin fast, it looks like it’s overclocking.
- My computer displays a horizontal RGB line across the center of the screen. I don’t have a present example but if you google “rgb line screen” on google images, that’s basically what it looks like.
- Sometimes, no line appears on the screen and instead it says this: “There is no signal coming from your computer. Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to wake up. There is no display, press the monitor button now to select the correct input source on the On-Screen-Display menu.”
- I don’t typically use programs that cause my PC to overclock. I can simply open two or three tabs to my email or google and it just decides to overclock.
