I recently moved parts from a retired PC into a new case hoping that I could repurpose them. When I press the power button, the problem mentioned in the title occurs. The motherboard's RGB led is still glowing when the case has power supplied, so I don't think the motherboard is the problem. I tried reseating the RAM and unplugging the GPU, but I got the same result. A light on my motherboard flashes yellow for a second alongside the CPU fan spinning.

This is a list of everything in the case at the moment.

Is this your first time booting it? Try running your computer with only one stick of RAM in, preferably in the A2 slot.

It's not my first time, and I tried testing the ram with only one stick, but that didn't work either. And I can't use the first and third channels because the 3600's included CPU cooler obstructs the first.

You will need to update your BIOS on a B450 motherboard to run a Ryzen 3600.

Andy
I did that before I retired the PC, so the BIOS should be in order.
