[SOLVED] PC won't boot & no beep sound

Hi,

When I switch on my pc, there is no beep sound & it doesn't boot. However the fans & lights all switch on.

I've tried removing all the external hardware, RAM, cmos battery & resetting as well but nothing seems to work.

I think the cmos battery is weak but not too sure if that's the reason why the pc will not start.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Write down your full system list, include brand and model of every component including your PSU.

Also if you can add a few pictures of your PC internals using imgur.

Its really hard to diagnose a problem from far away without a lot of info.

Please state if this is a new PC, if its not new share with us if it was working before.

If its an old PC, Did you change anything lately? (hardware or software).

Also is the display (monitor) ON and plug into the correct port at the back?, Motherboard backpanel port for igpu (for integrated gpus) or GPU port (for discrete GPUs).

I was able to solve the problem. It was a faulty gfx card. I removed it and connected the monitor with the onboard card and the pc switched on.

That can be the case, but also can be a bad/poor PSU.
