Hi all.

Thanks for any help in advance.

This is the weirdest problem I have ever had. I have followed through the sticky at the top of the thread.

It started when my monitor recorded no input from my.

So I tested monitor with a different system and monitor works fine. The system just was not booting.

I tried taking out each stick of ram in turn and this did not fix. Tried running the machine without the gfx card. This did not work.

I then got an older processor put it in the motherboard. It still won't work. I tried taking the battery out of the motherboard multiple times. Still nothing.

I then got an older motherboard and combined it with the OG processor and the older one and still nothing

I tried plugging in all the SATA cables to different ports in all combinations.

Finally I tried booting off a windows 10 usb and still nothing. In some ways it's like a brand new pc. Different motherboard, different processor, with or without gfx card, changed hard drive attempting for a windows disc reboot (not that I can get on the bios to tell it to boot from that). The only thing I can't change out is the power supply itself but I'm loathe to do that because it's only half a year old and I don't have a spare (any power seems to be delivered fine). How can it still have the same problem?!

The only hint I have is that on the back up mother board the boot solid LED comes on saying it won't boot.

Initial processor Ryzen 7 3600x

Older one Ryzen 3 1200

Corsair ram 8gb sticks

Motherboard b550 A pro

Corsair 2000gb solid state drive storage and Samsung solid state drive 500gb boot drive

PSU is 850 W Be quiet!

Thanks

Just an update for anyone who stumbles upon this in the future.

The issue was a broken SSD hard drive that the pc was trying to boot from. Despite unplugging the hard drive and having a windows disc present the PC would still try to boot from the broken SSD (guess it was really attached to the SATA port IDK sounds nonsense)

Fixed by removing all hard drives, then hard resetting the mobo with CMOS battery and booting from a usb.

Then once windows was installed plugged SSD in and it showed corrupted.
