Hello everyone,

My name is Justin, and I have purchased a geforce GTX 770. I am trying to take my old card out and put the new one in. When i put the new one in and booted up i got to the bios screen but after that all i got was a black screen with a 0_ in the bottom right corner. I have completely uninstalled the drivers for my old AMD card but i still cant boot up.

Things i have tried
-Change the Bios boot form Legacy to UEFI
- Moving the card to a dif PCI-e slot
- Setting Bios to start from the card

I have not been able to install the drivers for the 770, because the installer needs the card to be in the computer.

Any help would be hot.

Solution
Same happened to me with my R9 280X
It was returned and they gave me another one.

Something you can try:
Install the lastest bios.
Try to run your pc with integrated graphics and the gpu installed, install your drivers after that check device manager for errors, otherwise you might have to return it like me

Processor - i7 2770k
Ram- 24gb
Power- Corsair GS700
OLD Graphics card - XFX R7800 Series
Motherboard- Intel DP67BG Burrage
