So I recently got a new CPU (i5 4690K) and motherboard (Asus Z97-A) everything seems to be working fine but the one problem I'am having is sometimes when I turn my PC on it wont boot past the motherboard splash screen unless I restart my PC in which case it boots properly. I've looked around a bit in forums and stuff for a solution but most people with a similar problem have had there hardware for a few months/years. Not brand new hardware...
I'm wondering if my mobo came with a defective CMOS battery maybe as this is one of the causes I've seen with PC freezing on the mobo splash screen.
Anyone else had this problem or does anyone know a fix, would be much appreciated!
Sorry is this has already been a posted problem.
Full PC specs are:
i5 4690K
Asus Z97-A
8GB DDR3
GTX 770
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
Samsung HDD
