I just recently started having this problem after a previous PSU exploded on me..
I can only boot if I clear the CMOS.. When I clear it, it resets the bios, so a fan error will pop up forcing me into the bios (H100i works). Now.. When I save and restart, it just shuts off, doesn't start back up. When I discard and start up, it boots into Windows fine. When I do boot into Windows and I eventually shut down or restart, it requires me to clear cmos again.
The P8P67 has LEDs for GPU,HDD,CPU and RAM.. When I try to boot after saving BIOS settings or restarting/shutting down Windows, RAM LED lights up, all fans start up, then LED switches over to CPU briefly, which is when it shuts down.
I've tried swapping out different PSUs, I put in a new CMOS Battery, reseating RAM in different slots, underclocking CPU and lowering timings on RAM.. Nothing seems to be fixing the problem. I'm stumped..
