PC won't boot up and "IDE DETECT" error code comes up on "ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER LGA 1151 " motherboard

So, I've recently made my first gaming computer today. I've put time in to make sure all cables are snug and well in their desired slots, and that everything is plugged in. Still, when I finished checking, the BIOS screen did not boot up for me. Instead, I was greeted by a "A2" error message on the Q-code LED that I later discovered meant "IDE detect". What does this mean, and how can I fix it to get to my BIOS screen?

The problem is likely with one of your Sata cables. IDE is a connection standard for hard drives and DVD drives.
