Hi All,

I have a PC which I'm trying to put my 1050 in but it wont boot when I put the gpu inside... it turns on but the monitor wont come on.... Im thinking maybe it cant get enough power? what do you guys think.. the card works fine in another computer.

the system runs a 3770k on GA-Z77X-D3H (rev. 1.0)... 32gb DDR3 and 9 hard drives are being powered (8x 3.5" and 1 x SSD)

My power supply is a Antec Signature Series SG-850W

Are you trying the video ports on the card and motherboard? When the GPU is installed.

Have you tried a CMOS reset?

Have you updated to the latest BIOS?
hi...thanks for the reply.. yeah i have put it in the 1050 gpu hdmi when its in... did the CMOS reset ... haven't tried bios update ... so you think my PSU can handle what I have plus GPU ? I know its not booting because I cant ping the machine either.

850W should be enough, for sure. That is assuming the PSU is actually able to deliver lots of clean power. Have you tried anything else in that PCIe slot on the motherboard? It is possible that motherboard slot is the problem.
I haven't tried anything else don't have... but I have tried all 3 slots
