Pc wont boot with dual channel ram only boots with single ram fitted in slot 3 or 4 only, GA-Z270p D3 / Crucail Ballastix 2*8

hey guys

need your help with my newly built pc. i tested all the parts and narrowed the problem to both ram or motherboard.

i am not sure if this motheboard is compatible with my rams since it only boots if the ram is fitted to slot 3 and 4 only in single channel mode.

shall i just return both or maybe its compatibly issue cant tell please help

Even if your memory were too fast, they would downclock to the boards max (until XMP or the AMD equivilent were activated).

What is your CPU?
What are the amounts (in GB) of your RAM?
